A thought for 2009

Talking to friends recently It would seem that everyone and their dog are into art which is truly a great thing. however, many opening shows are becoming very dull and formulaic. its the same drill again and again, after about 30 mins or less people generally seem to lose interest and leave. We all do it, you go to a open night at a gallery, see some art on walls, drink some beer, mingle with people, talk rubbish, then get bored and leave. Lets all move forward please and bring entertainment and interaction into the equation for 2009.
